The Southwest Chapter

The original planners of the National Grigsby Family Society envisioned it as an umbrella over several chapters throughout the United States.

The Southwest Chapter was organized in 1983.  Similar to its parent organization, the Chapter had a President, 1st and 2nd Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Board of Directors.  The Chapter meet yearly and published a quarterly newsletter for many years.

Due to loss of interest by the membership in attending the annual meetings, it was determined in 2007 that the Southwest Chapter should be disbanded and the Chapter's monies be used to fund a Southwest Chapter Hospitality Room during the annual Board of Director meetings so that members may have a place to meet if they so desire.  This was first used at the 2008 Triennial Reunion in Fairfield, California (Napa Valley).
